1 - Getting Started
Thank you for stopping by, you have lots of options to choose from and I appreciate that you chose to stop here.
I’m Kirsti Patterson, from New Zealand, now I live in Hertford, England, and I have been in the UK since 2012.
Yoga wasn’t always my thing, I started out in the corporate space, then I discovered yoga and the pressure I felt changed as my expectations of myself changed.
The pregnancy journey can be very similar to the corporate world, both are filled with comparisons and expectations.
I want to help by taking some of the expectations from you and helping you with some pregnancy yoga, regardless of any previous yoga experience.
I am a Pregnancy & Postnatal Qualified teacher, something you should look for when considering movement in pregnancy.
I didn’t expect to like this speciality, but I love it and I hope you do too.
Go through the mini-series in order, the key poses are broken down with modifications for your body.
Some of the modifications may not seem right for you today but give it a few more weeks or months and you’ll remember those options and be able to continue moving in a way that is right for you.
If you want more, take more.
If you need a little less and want to chill, do that.
Every pregnancy is different. Every body is different. There is always an option for you.
